Custom BMW R1200R Scrambler Cafe by Lazareth Auto Moto

A stunning example of a custom BMW R1200R by Lazareth, it’s a combination between a Scramble and a Cafe Racer which is always a brave move. But when you have automotive design skill like Lazareth Auto Moto do then it’s just another day at the office. They have created something amazing, this is a totally unique scrambler cafe custom with the biggest badest tyres I’ve ever seen on a chunky bike with such a low stance. The first thing I noticed was the two huge 320mm  front discs coupled with 4-piston callipers and an inverted fork big style. The BMW engine looks huge with everything stripped back, but god it looks aggressive.  The cockpit has been stripped back to it’s simplest form and has just one analogue speedo with a few lights and mirrors at the end of the bars.

This is another matt black on black bike which isn’t a bad thing, with a few silver ascent parts this bike would only ever have looked good in black. It’s a real thing a beauty, the straight bars look really well on the bike along with the unusual triangular exhaust. It does have a very modern feel this bike with the large breaks and modern exhaust, yet there is something very raw and old school about the stripped down cafe racer ethos behind the frame.

Lazareth Auto-Moto was founded in 1998 by Ludovic Lazareth an automotive designer and prototypist. Ludovic said “The brand stands for Being modern, futuristic, forward looking, dynamic and expressive, Offering a pleasurable and exclusive ownership experience.”
