Beautiful BMW R90S Cafe Racer by Sébastien Beaupère

This is motorcycle art, an engineers dream machine. This beautiful BMW R90S Cafe Racer has been built on a R50 frame, that’s no mean feat and a work of genius. I still think they should have called this bike the Black Window with that red back on the tank but either way it looks so cool. I love the side mounted light on this bike, it’s one of the most unusual yet most beautiful cafe racers I’ve ever featured on Moto Verso. I like people who go that extra mile to make there bike stand out from the crowd, even the seat mounting is cool with it floating from under the tank from the frame. Another really nice touch is the rear suspension, not seen anything like like on a build before but it look so clean and how a cafe bike should. Stripped back big and chunky with loads of character and look at the old school master class of engineer on the front folks and suspension. Looks to me like a set of early Harley Davidson front forks which I’m a huge fan of, they look so cool on a BMW though.
The big chunky tyres on the black spoked wheels are perfect, a low stance and a shortened frame must make this a really cool bike to ride with such a low centre of gravity. The photography of the BMW by Douki Patrick is really nice, I like seeing people actually on the bikes when taking photographs, helps the reader see exactly what the stance is like and give you a sence that it’s been built to ride rather than collect dust in a shop somewhere.
For anyone who is looking to build a cafe racer then for me this is the perfect example, it has everything one should have and more style than a Monaco car park.
